  • Giving a big tough time

The newest updates have given the appearance of trying to simplify things, but in reality it is a mess. Garageband has become somewhat unnecessarily complex. I have been using it for about a decade for fun tracks, doing simple things such as importing audio files. Now, I can't even import tracks because I have apparently reached maximum tracks even when the file is empty. Im reinstalling it to hopefully be able to edit all my tracks again, but so far, these update are pretty darn aweful! Bring garageband back to the simple days when it was easy and great to use!

  • Where are my old loops

I recently started back playing with my guitar and looking over some of my old GarageBand projects I have. When I tried to play them, many of the loops were gone. Drums, Bass, Piano, etc. *Poof* I was able to salvage some loops from really old MacBook that has a really old version of GarageBand. Aside from that, I am having to relearn where many things are located. I never used it often enough to have old habits. But I don't have to spend some time finding things.

This thing happens ALL THE TIME ...ALL THE TIME ... I ran an experiment; one track of 2 minutes, locked and I still get the same message ... with 16GB of memroy that shouldn't happen ... garbage app
  • Super laggy!

I’m trying to make a short 1 minute song and im trying to drag the loops in, but after 3 loops it starts to slow down… And cannot handle the amount of loops on screen. I don’t think that its my computer (MacBook Pro 13-inch mid 2012) because it can handle swiping between apps smoothly. I’m trying to wait for it to load so I can loop tracks, but never does.
  • Plugins Dont Work

I tried to install Podolski and many other synths and in the plugin slots at the bottom of the software instrucment "Master" section, none of my installed plugins appear, I have looked all over the internet, people telling me to delete some Cache files or rescan but nothing works. Please fix
  • Missing Stereo Input

In older versions of grageband I could set the input to stereo or mono. In the lattest version of grageband it seems like the stereo and mono input settings have been removed from grageband or maybe they have been moved. I have used grageband for years and have enjoyed using it and with the stereo and mono inputs being gone or moved to were they are not easy to be found I am not liking grageband anymore. If the stereo and mono inouts have been removed from grasgeband please being them back.
  • Why Can't We Inport Files From The Internet and Have it Split into Tracks?!

I want to remix some videogame music, but I cannot play it, so I need to import it. I can't import it with splitting it into tracks!

Can't get a mic to work. Tried several different things. GarageBand is terrible.
  • No MIDI to Audio

you are not able to convert midi tracks to audio nor are you able to reverse a midi track itself. would only give two and a half stars if that were possible.
